Brooke Westlake, Cannabis Expo CEO on "We Are Family" New TV Series on FOX & Hulu!
New Series Premiers January 3, 2024
I have been overly excited to share this with my readers, followers, supporters, friends and family! I got the opportunity of a lifetime, and I took it. In early 2023, I was contacted by a casting agency and agent for a brand-new TV game show. Because the TV game show was brand new, things explained to me were somewhat vague. To be 100% transparent and honest, I had no idea or expectation on what I was signing up for. I went through multiple rounds of interviews, meeting multiple people from casting, etc. to see if I would be a good fit for the new tv game show. And by “fit” for the show, I also wanted to be clear that they were aware of my professional background, education and that I had shifted gears in 2020 from healthcare to the cannabis industry.
All I really knew about the new opportunity was that it was going to be a brand-new TV game show and the premise was going to be around pop culture and that the show was going to be tapped in late spring or early summer of 2023.
In late May, I was contacted by the casting agent that the shows tapping dates were going to be moved to the fall of 2023. Come this past August I was getting ready to send an email to the casting agent about the new game show tapping schedule, but before I could, I opened my email to see that the new tapping dates and schedule were waiting for me in my inbox. Again, I was beyond thrilled, scared and excited!
I flew out to Lithia Springs, Georgia. (My first time in Georgia!). I had no idea what to expect. What I can share now, is that I came back with 100 plus new family friends from around the United States. We bonded, laughed, cried, and most importantly we supported one another. I believe along with the show Host Anthony Anderson and his Co-Host Mama Doris, we are all going to be a hit! But wait, did I mention the new TV game show will be featured on a major network?
When I arrived back home from tapping the tv show, I felt like all of it was a dream. The reality of the new game show tv series coming out came to light when the first two promos were released last week by Fox! We Are Family, First PROMO!
Here is what I can share with you all! First and foremost, I believe as a business owner and being in the cannabis industry we got a big WIN! Once the show does premier you will see my face, my name and under it will read, “Cannabis Expo CEO”. We are claiming and taking that as a big win and couldn’t be happier! Those of us in the industry know just how big of a win this really is.
The name of the show is called “We Are Family”! The show is hosted by comedian, actor, and game show host Anthony Anderson Anthony Anderson's IG with his famous Mama Doris. What is seen on the promos and the premise of the game show, is that all of us in the audience are contestants and our job is to try to guess the non-famous family member and who they are related to, because the famous family member will eventually reveal themselves by coming out of a giant sphere on the stage. Lots of laughs, lots of good and bad guesses and lots of surprise celebrities and celebrities’ interactions.
